The building is presented as a large sports container, a landmark for the neighborhood (a reference building) and a meeting point, where the sports use also gives way to other forms of socialization and interaction among neighbors.
Considering that the city where it is located predominantly features classical or traditional architecture, the project also aims to showcase another type of architecture, more contemporary and international in character.
In this way, the project will address some aspects in an ambiguous and complementary manner: international language / local materials, complex morphology / simple and systematic construction, exterior fragmentation / interior spatial unity.
